Most scientists and health professionals believe passionately in scientific freedom and progress, and are suspicious of bioconservative and Luddite attacks on medical technology. At the same time they are acutely aware of the need to ensure the safety and efficacy of new technologies. So scientists and health professionals are key allies in the struggle for safe and universally accessible enhancement technologies.
