L’Association transhumaniste du Québec grandit, avec maintenant 60 membres souscrivant à nos listes d’envois, mta-annonces et mta-pourparlers. Nous sommes impressionnés par le type de personne avant-gardiste qui exprime un intérêt à se joindre à l’ATQ.
Toutefois, seulement en se joignant à l’Association transhumaniste mondiale en tant qu’un membre de soutien ou de maintien, pouvez-vous soutenir une des voix les plus articulées pour un meilleur avenir. RENCONTRE ATQ
La prochaine rencontre régulière de la section montréalaise de l’Association transhumaniste du Québec aura lieu dans un nouvel endroit: le Café internet VIRUS au 3672 Saint-Laurent à Montréal, dimanche, le 26 février, @ 2PM.
Au-delà de discussion libre de sujets reliés au transhumanisme, les rencontres consistent de sessions de brainstorming pour déterminer comment nous pouvons contribuer des idées, talents et ressources à bâtir le mouvement transhumaniste à Montréal.
Les rencontres régulières de l’ATQ seront temporairement arrangés à travers meetup.com, une plateforme de technologie avancée et un réseau mondial de lieus de rencontres pour aider les gens à organiser des rencontres de groupes locaux la même journée partout dans le monde.
Tous les membres de l’ATQ sont encouragés à s’enregistrer avec ce service pour assurer que le choix de la date et de l’endroit du prochain meetup satisfait le plus grand nombre de personnes.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT
The Quebec Transhumanist Association‘s membership is growing, with now 60 people subscribing to our two mailing lists, mta-announce and mta-talk. We are impressed by the type of forward-thinking individuals who express interest in joining the QTA.

QTA MEETING
The next meeting of the Montreal section of the Quebec Transhumanist Association will take place at a new location: the VIRUS Internet Cafe at 3672 St-Laurent in Montreal on Sunday, February 26, @ 2PM.
Beyond free-flowing discussion of topics related to transhumanism, meetings consist of progress reports and brainstorming sessions to explore the means by which each member has and can contribute ideas, skills and resources to reach the objectives of the Quebec Transhumanist Association.
QTA meetings are currently arranged through meetup.com, an advanced technology platform and global network of local venues that helps people self-organize local group gatherings on the same day everywhere.
All QTA members are encouraged to register with this service to ensure that the choice of the date and location of the next meetup suits the greatest number of people.

Justice De Thezier is a social entrepreneur and creative professional. In 2003, he founded the Quebec Transhumanist Association, which he closed down in January 2008. From January 2006 to January 2008, De Thezier served on the board of directors of the World Transhumanist Association. And, from November 2005 to March 2007, he contributed to the Cyborg Democracy web portal and blog.
